Oak tree and the gall wasp.
This page is in the building stage , but I will explain a little about the gall wasp.
You may have seen disfiguration of your oak tree Acorns, or leaves.
they may also be sticky to touch.
This is not a disease but the result of the gall wasp laying eggs on your tree.
I have not heard of a gall wasp infestation killing an Oak tree, as the gall wasp has a fair few predators of its own.

Its very nearly Acorn collecting time.
